Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Family Medicine Physician who values a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. This position is based in a rural family practice environment in Fruitland, Idaho, and includes obstetrics (OB) responsibilities.

About the Practice

Fruitland Health Plaza is a comprehensive multi-specialty facility catering to the healthcare needs of Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. The services provided at this location encompass:

• Family Medicine
• Urgent Care
• Occupational Medicine
• Orthopedic Services

Additionally, we offer on-site laboratory, x-ray, and CT services. OB duties will involve deliveries at our regional medical center in Ontario, which is just a 10-minute drive from Fruitland. There is also the opportunity to engage in newborn nursery care and inpatient pediatrics if desired. Due to the rural setting of this role, physicians may qualify for state loan repayment benefits.

Schedule and Call Requirements

This full-time position follows a traditional clinic schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time that includes OB responsibilities. General call is set at 1:6, with specific OB hospital call details to be determined.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
• Board certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
• Possession of a valid Idaho medical license to practice in all areas
• Current controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA
