Role: REMOTE Licensed Health Plan Advisor
Pay: $27.58/hr plus incentives
Assignment: September 14, 2026 – January 31, 2027
Location: Remote (Must be within Houston, TX 77035)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: Between 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM ESTme)

What you'll do:
•Re-sell Individual Medical Plans to existing members across all company-approved states.
•Increase member retention by working with members who may be at risk of canceling coverage.
•Analyze existing plans and educate members on the value and benefits of their current coverage.
•Discuss available plan options and recommend alternative plans when appropriate.
•Provide counseling and recommendations regarding plan changes and coverage options.
•Assist members during rate increases or other situations that may impact retention.
•Handle cancellation requests and work to reduce member attrition.
•Partner with Underwriting teams to identify alternate plan options when selected plans are unavailable or require modifications.
•Follow up on retention leads through outbound phone calls and written communications.
•Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and retention activities.
•Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.

Requirements:
Active Life & Health Insurance License required for the candidate's resident state.
•Ability to obtain and maintain insurance licenses in all required states.
•Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) preferred.
•3–4 years of Life & Health Insurance experience in sales and/or member services.
•Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
•Strong sales, retention, and customer service skills.
•Experience discussing insurance plans, benefits, and coverage options with customers.
•Ability to analyze member needs and recommend appropriate plan solutions.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
•Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting follow-up communications.
•Experience collaborating with underwriting or cross-functional teams is preferred.
•Strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and customer retention skills.
