Job Opportunity: OB/Gyn Physician

This position is ideal for an Obstetrician/Gynecologist who excels in delivering exceptional patient care while embracing innovation and utilizing technology for enhanced efficiency and experience. Candidates should have experience in practice development or start-ups and be comfortable in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.

The perfect candidate will be a proficient OB/GYN capable of offering a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological services. This includes routine well-woman care, labor and delivery, and both hospital-based and outpatient surgeries, catering to a diverse patient population that is socioeconomically, culturally, and medically varied. Comfort in a technology-driven setting and a hospitality-oriented culture is essential. This role also presents the potential for advancement into management positions as we expand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Align with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Monitor and provide care for patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal and postnatal services; collaborate with midwives as needed.
  • Maintain a strong record of delivering high-quality routine women's health care, with expertise in diagnosing and treating gynecological and obstetrical conditions.
  • Conduct follow-up consultations with patients to track their health status, utilizing telemedicine when appropriate.
  • Possess a solid understanding of pharmaceuticals, including side effects and potential interactions.
  • Recognize signs of physical and emotional abuse in patients.
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse patient demographic, considering socioeconomic, ethnic, and linguistic factors.
  • Guide and supervise medical staff, including nurses, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants, on proper procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school and Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • A valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia.
  • Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
  • Ability to credential with both commercial and government third-party payers.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and comfortable with technology.

  • Compensation Range: $261,250.00 - $346,750.00 per year, based on experience.
