Job Opportunity: Neonatologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist to become a part of our growing Neonatology program at a prominent medical center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

Position Overview

This is a full-time role where you will collaborate with a well-established team consisting of four Neonatologists, along with a complete support staff of physician assistants and APRNs. You will have the chance to apply your extensive clinical skills in a 28-bed Level 3 NICU and our Level I & II satellite nurseries throughout the area. Our team shares the responsibility of ensuring continuous 24/7 coverage for the NICU, as well as hospitalist support for the newborn nursery and assistance during complex deliveries and cesarean sections.

Teaching and Training Opportunities

As part of an academic affiliate hospital, you will have numerous opportunities to educate medical students from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Additionally, our NICU regularly hosts residents from various programs, including OB/GYN, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine, along with students from Capital Community College's Paramedics program and St. Joseph's University Physician Assistant program.
