Our organization is on the lookout for full-time Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists to enhance our esteemed team of medical professionals.

Located within a 300-bed community and teaching hospital, our facility offers a unique opportunity for dedicated OB Hospitalists. These roles focus exclusively on managing patients in labor and supervising both routine and complex deliveries.

Position Details
  • Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) on-site.
  • Full-Time Commitment: 13 shifts per month.
  • Part-Time and PRN: Flexible scheduling options available.
  • No On-Call Duties: Enjoy a balanced work-life experience.

Our facility handles between 70-90 deliveries each month, featuring:

  • Eight labor rooms
  • Four antepartum rooms
  • 15-20 postpartum rooms

We are equipped with an in-house lab, ultrasound services, 24-hour dedicated OB anesthesia, and Maternal Fetal Medicine available five to seven days a week. Laborists are not required to cover Gyn ED calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert obstetrical care, managing labor and responding to emergencies.
  • Oversee patient care throughout their entire journey.

Our obstetrics and gynecology specialists cater to a diverse range of needs, including both normal and high-risk pregnancies, as well as various gynecologic and women’s health issues. Our OB/GYN program is robust, averaging 1,200 deliveries annually, supported by a comprehensive team that includes midwifery, OB/GYN, MFM, and Level II NICU services.

Qualifications
