Our organization is in search of a Full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Occupational Therapist Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Possession of a current Occupational Therapy License in New York State.
- Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Assess residents and create individualized OT treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
- Select activities that enable residents to perform daily tasks independently.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document residents' progress in occupational therapy through detailed reporting.
- Ensure resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team.
