\n\nJob Description Summary:
\nThis position operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol.\n\nResponsibilities And Duties:
\nObtains patient clinical history for procedure.\n\nReviews lab values and screens patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media.\n
\nAdministers oral and IV contrast media.\n
\nOperates CT scanners for variety of procedures.\n
\nCoordinates workload with other clinical sections and departments.\n
\nMonitors quality in patient care functions. \n
\n

Minimum Qualifications:
\nHigh School or GED (Required)ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT-DOH - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License from Ohio Department of Health - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association\n\nAdditional Job Description:

- Graduate of an accredited radiography program ODH Ohio Radiologic License \n
- BLS Certification \n
