Rebar and Post-Tension Machine Operator

We are seeking a Rebar and Post-Tension Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate specialized, custom-built equipment engineered explicitly for our post-tension manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical competence, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities Configure, program, and safely operate custom machines utilizing computerized CNC control consoles to meet precise production metrics Conduct continuous inspections of processed materials to guarantee total compliance with our rigorous structural quality guidelines Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to handle machine setups, identify operating variances, and troubleshoot minor mechanical adjustments or issues Qualifications Rebar industry experience and background running machinery is strictly required Strong, demonstrable mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, automated industrial equipment Prior forklift experience is highly preferred Reliable, highly safety-minded, quality-focused, and comfortable with a rigorous industrial workload ("not afraid to get dirty") Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds regularly, and greater weights with assistance Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and effectively for extended durations, including repetitive hand and foot movements, and in both hot and cold weather environments Ability to climb on and off equipment, ladders, and elevated platforms, and work at heights when required Ability to use hands and tools to perform physical tasks, including rigging, securing loads, and equipment adjustments Ability to maintain situational awareness and react quickly to changing job site conditions to ensure safety Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety signals, including working in environments with high noise levels (hearing protection may be required) Ability to see and distinguish colors, depths, and distances to safely operate equipment and perform tasks Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and travel as required by project needs Ability to perform physically demanding work requiring stamina, endurance, and strength in a fast-paced, high-risk environment Additional Information Salary Range: $23.00 - $26.00 / hr DOE Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law Benefits 401(k) + matching Health, Dental, Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (PTO) Holiday Pay Suncoast is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
