We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to assist patients in a skilled nursing facility located in Passaic, NJ. Your role will involve helping individuals regain or enhance their daily living skills following an injury, illness, or disability. This position offers direct patient care in a rehabilitative environment, along with the chance to experience a community rich in urban and regional amenities.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active Occupational Therapy license in New Jersey is necessary to commence the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with documentation and electronic medical records is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous travel therapy experience is a plus.
  • Experience in ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning is preferred.
Assignment Details
  • Shift Hours: 08:30 AM - 04:30 PM
  • Workweek: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each shift.
