Join Our New Orthopedic Surgery Program

We are excited to announce the establishment of a new Orthopedic Surgery Program within our organization, and we are on the lookout for a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Spine Medicine to become part of our expanding team. This is a remarkable chance to be among the pioneering surgeons in a newly formed hospital-employed orthopedic practice, allowing you to influence the program's development from its inception.

Position Highlights:
  • Hospital-Employed Role: Join a new initiative with opportunities for leadership and professional growth.
  • Single Campus Operations: Conduct surgeries at one hospital location and an affiliated Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
  • Support Staff: Benefit from surgical Physician Assistant support to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Shared Call Schedule: Participate in a rotational call system of 1:4.
Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Spine Surgery.
  • Possession of a New York State medical license or eligibility.

Recruitment Package:

Our organization offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes:

  • Compensation: A base salary ranging from $630,000 to $760,000. This figure represents the starting range for total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, or other cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in accordance with state regulations and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.

  • Starting Bonus: A $50,000 signing bonus.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000 available.
  • Paid Malpractice Insurance: Includes tail coverage.
