Job Description
The Demand and Material Planner will oversee inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure the efficient supply of materials within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role is critical in supporting procurement and supply chain operations in Montgomeryville. Description Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and market trends. Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing excess. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to align material planning with production schedules. Analyze supply chain performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Prepare detailed reports on inventory status and forecasted needs. Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records or material shortages. Support cross-functional teams in meeting operational goals.
