Maintenance Technician Lead
Job Description
Location: Dallas, TX 75237
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00$40.00 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee daily maintenance activities while performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting facility operations. This position is responsible for minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and leading maintenance efforts in a manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesLead and prioritize daily maintenance activities.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
Supervise and support maintenance technicians and contractors.
Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
Install, assemble, and test equipment and machinery.
Maintain facility systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, doors, and general building repairs.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
Train and mentor team members on equipment, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.
Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Support equipment installations, facility upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Previous industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
Experience with MIG and Stick welding and basic fabrication.
Knowledge of hydraulic power units and hydraulic systems.
Experience troubleshooting 24V DC controls and 480V motor controls.
Experience maintaining conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, and material handling equipment.
Familiarity with dust collection and ventilation systems.
Experience working with industrial equipment such as shredders, crushers, ball mills, granulators, and balers.
General facilities maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
