Job Opportunity: Outpatient Physician

• Collaborative Team: Work alongside 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider.
• Comprehensive Care: Provide care from newborns to seniors, with no obstetrics required (optional shared care available).
• No On-Call Duties: Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call responsibilities!
• Additional Compensation: Extra pay available for ER and/or inpatient work.
• Access to Specialists: Collaborate with specialists in various fields, including general surgery, cardiology, ENT, nephrology, orthopedics, and more.
• On-Site Services: Benefit from lab, x-ray, ultrasound (including Echo), pain management, behavioral health therapy, and other essential services available on-site.
• Critical Access Hospital: Be part of a 25-bed facility serving 12,000 residents in Hancock County and surrounding areas.
• Trauma Care: Work in a Level IV Area Trauma Care Facility.
• Regional Health System: Join a network that includes multiple critical access hospitals and clinics across 14 counties, serving a population of approximately 260,000.
• Telehealth Services: Utilize telemedicine and teleradiology options for enhanced patient care.

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible, with certification achieved within 3 years of eligibility.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive Compensation: Base salary of $301,290 plus production incentives.
• Bonus Package: A generous $150,000 bonus opportunity!
• PTO: Enjoy 34 days of paid time off while on base, increasing to 40 days when on production.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is essential.
• Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
• Must be board certified or eligible for certification.
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit are required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a State of Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate.
