Job Opportunity: Board-Certified General Diagnostic/Neuroradiology Radiologist

Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified General Diagnostic/Neuroradiology Radiologist to become a full-time faculty member in the Department of Radiology at our medical center located in Maywood, Illinois, just 20 minutes from downtown Chicago.

About the Department

The successful candidate will be part of a distinguished Radiology Department comprising over 50 subspecialized radiologists. This team supports clinical services across our medical center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and various ambulatory care facilities. The department also includes 28 residents and 1 abdominal imaging fellow, making resident and fellow education a vital aspect of our mission. Evidence of teaching and mentorship will be crucial in our selection process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic and neuroradiology services.
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and fellows.
  • Participate in clinical and translational research initiatives.
  • Perform neuroradiology procedures and advanced imaging techniques.
Qualifications
  • Board certification in radiology.
  • Completion of a formal fellowship in Neuroradiology.
  • Sub-specialty certification in Neuroradiology.
  • Strong interest or experience in clinical and translational research.
  • Commitment to education and mentorship.
  • Proficiency in neuroradiology procedural skills is expected.
  • Special expertise in advanced imaging techniques and/or spinal interventions is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Faculty rank and salary will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Applicants must hold a valid license to practice in the State of Illinois upon hiring. The compensation package includes:

  • Competitive starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945.
  • Salary determined by academic rank and experience.
