Job Title: Sit-Down & Clamp Forklift Operator
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: 2 Days on, 2 days off, 3 days on Rotating Schedule (2/2/3), 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down & Clamp Forklift Operator to join our team at a fast-paced packaging and distribution facility. This position is responsible for safely operating sit-down and clamp forklifts to move, load, unload, and transport packaged products throughout the warehouse while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down and clamp forklifts to move materials and finished products throughout the facility
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
Transport packaged goods between production, storage, and shipping areas
Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities
Stack, organize, and stage products for shipping and storage
Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift (required)
Prior experience operating a clamp forklift (required)
Experience loading and unloading trailers in a warehouse or distribution environment
Ability to safely handle packaged products without causing damage
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting
Must follow all safety policies and procedures
