Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting Pre-K students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a CCC credential. This in-person role allows you to choose between part-time and full-time schedules, working 2-3 days per week based on your preference, across one school site per day in a supportive school setting near Whittier, CA.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience providing services in a school setting, with a strong background working with Pre-K or pediatric populations
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and conducting assessments
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to work across multiple school sites

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to Pre-K students in a school-based environment
  • Conduct assessments, create, and monitor IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, aides, and families to support language and communication development
  • Travel between 2-3 assigned school locations (one site per day) within the district
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide staff education and participate in meetings as needed
