Special Education Teacher - Weatherford, TX

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Proven experience working with students with severe behavioral challenges
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic instruction and behavioral support to a group of four students with severe behavior needs
• Develop and modify lesson plans to accommodate individual learning differences
• Implement proactive behavioral strategies and crisis intervention when necessary
• Collaborate closely with support staff, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent supports
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavior
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
