This full-time, onsite opportunity starts in early August and runs through late May, serving students and collaborating with staff in the Garland area. Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in Texas is required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Committed to collaborative, student-centered practice
  • Ability to adapt and respond thoughtfully to a variety of student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students as requested
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement educational and behavioral interventions
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development through counseling and targeted programming
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to 504 planning
  • Offer consultation services for parents and educators regarding students’ learning and behavioral concerns
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation, adhering to district, state, and federal policies
