This contract assignment offers the chance to guide children as they develop essential skills for success in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities related to school performance
  • Create and implement individualized intervention plans to support student access to learning
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop effective strategies and accommodations
  • Maintain accurate treatment documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a resource for occupational therapy expertise
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and independence

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current OT license in Washington State
  • ESA certification required
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Enthusiastic attitude and commitment to student success
