Occupational Therapist School Setting - Gresham, OR

This contract, part-time opportunity is designed for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives in school environments and values relationship-based practice. You’ll work 2-3 days per week in a district serving approximately 600 students, partnering with educators and families to help children reach their full potential during the 2026-27 academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license and eligibility for school-based practice
• Experience providing therapy in K-12 educational settings (preferred)
• Strong understanding of IEPs and the ability to write and implement therapy goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet a range of student needs in a small district

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Administer assessments, interpret results, and develop treatment plans as part of multidisciplinary teams
• Participate actively in IEP meetings: setting goals, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
• Provide resources and training to support staff on the use of adaptive equipment or classroom modifications
• Maintain all required documentation and compliance standards
