Preferred qualifications and experience include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Valid Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience in pediatric and K-12 school settings strongly emphasized
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Solid clinical skills in assessment, individualized treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention

Core responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with educators and parents

  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with school standards and district requirements
