Job Summary
A Wires Operations Specialist opportunity is available in Charleston, SC for a banking operations professional with experience supporting wire transfers, deposit operations, transaction review, and customer service inquiries. This direct hire role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys detail-oriented banking work, fraud prevention, and providing accurate operational support in a professional financial services environment.
This position offers the chance to join a stable banking operations team where accuracy, responsiveness, teamwork, and customer trust are essential. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling sensitive transaction activity, working with internal teams, and supporting customers through phone and email communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, review, and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfers with a high level of accuracy.
- Review checks, deposits, and account transactions to identify discrepancies, errors, or possible fraud.
- Support debit card servicing, online banking inquiries, and general deposit operations functions.
- Monitor operational reports for suspicious activity, exceptions, and transaction inconsistencies.
- Provide timely customer and internal support through phone and email communication.
- Follow banking procedures, compliance standards, and security protocols for transaction processing.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $52,000 to $60,000 per year.
