Intermountain Health seeks a Radiology Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered, mission-driven environment. This role performs X-rays and related imaging exams following physician orders and ALARA principles, ensuring accurate positioning, image quality, and radiation safety for patients and staff. The technologist verifies patient identity, explains procedures, and provides compassionate, culturally sensitive care while monitoring patient condition. Responsibilities include operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment, following sterile and infection-prevention protocols, and accurately documenting exams in the EMR/RIS/PACS systems. The technologist collaborates closely with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment, communicates critical findings per protocol, and assists with portable and emergency imaging. The role requires adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards, participation in quality improvement and safety initiatives, and maintaining continuing education and licensure.
