This contract opportunity focuses on promoting student success through individualized interventions and collaborative teamwork. You’ll assess and develop strategies to enhance fine and gross motor skills, whether working in classrooms, resource rooms, or home health settings.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in educational, healthcare, or home health settings
- Strong expertise in fine and gross motor skill development
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborative approach, working effectively with educators, students, and families
- Excellent time management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals
- Assess students’ needs to support academic and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for optimal implementation
- Track and report on student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Maintain required documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in meetings, contributing insights to multidisciplinary teams
