Key Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active, current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent experience providing OT services within a school setting strongly preferred
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, administrative staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ functional abilities and needs related to education
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions and therapeutic plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities or support accommodations
  • Document progress and adapt strategies to reflect each student’s evolving needs
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations for student support
  • Provide consultative services and resources to classroom staff and families
