What We’re Looking For:
- Current Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Completed Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with adolescent populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other specialists
- Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for high school students
- Delivering direct therapy services, both individually and in groups
- Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed to ensure student success
- Maintaining clear and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consulting with educators and families to maximize student support and generalization of skills
- Participating in student support meetings and contributing to IEP development
This contract position offers you the choice between two schedules: 2 days a week (16 hours) or 3 days a week (24 hours), both focused on serving high school populations.
