We welcome experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants who are enthusiastic about working in educational or healthcare settings and are well-versed in both onsite and teletherapy service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active Rhode Island SLP license required
- RIDE (RI Dept of Ed) certification essential for school-based work
- Experience as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (school or healthcare settings welcome)
- Knowledge and expertise in school and pediatric SLP practices
- Comfortable integrating teletherapy modalities when needed
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student progress and maintaining professional documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in person and/or via teletherapy platforms
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and contribute to student goal setting
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with all regulatory standards
