This part-time position is ideal for professionals with a passion for pediatric speech-language pathology and looking to make a positive impact two days per week.

We welcome experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants who are enthusiastic about working in educational or healthcare settings and are well-versed in both onsite and teletherapy service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Active Rhode Island SLP license required
  • RIDE (RI Dept of Ed) certification essential for school-based work
  • Experience as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (school or healthcare settings welcome)
  • Knowledge and expertise in school and pediatric SLP practices
  • Comfortable integrating teletherapy modalities when needed
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering student progress and maintaining professional documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in person and/or via teletherapy platforms
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and contribute to student goal setting
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with all regulatory standards
