As a School Psychologist in a contract position, you'll work collaboratively with educators, families, and students, promoting positive outcomes and addressing a range of learning and behavioral needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state-specific requirements apply)
  • Completion of a graduate-level program in School Psychology
  • Experience in administering and interpreting assessments for students
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, special education regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, making recommendations based on assessment findings
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ mental health and social-emotional development
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by delivering professional development and support to staff
