Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state-specific requirements apply)
- Completion of a graduate-level program in School Psychology
- Experience in administering and interpreting assessments for students
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, special education regulations, and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, making recommendations based on assessment findings
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ mental health and social-emotional development
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture by delivering professional development and support to staff
