The assignment is set to begin July 27, 2026, and extend through May 21, 2027, providing a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must hold an active Colorado Department of Education (CO CDE) license in School Psychology
  • Prior experience with elementary school populations strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and Special Education evaluation procedures
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource for school teams by supporting special education services—no direct student services required
  • Consult with educators and administrators regarding academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students with IEPs
  • Conduct and interpret assessments as needed, ensuring compliance with state and federal mandates
  • Attend IEP meetings and assist with the development and monitoring of IEP goals
  • Provide expertise and guidance regarding best practices in interventions and student support
  • Collaborate with SPED teams across schools, managing a caseload of approximately 40 students per location
