Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) license required
  • Experience or interest in elementary caseloads
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
  • Ability to develop and interpret evaluation reports for individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
  • Effective communication, consultation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive psychological evaluations, focusing primarily on assessments for elementary students
  • Analyze assessment data to support accurate identification of student needs and eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to determine and support appropriate interventions and strategies
  • Communicate assessment results to students, families, and staff, guiding the development of IEP goals and modifications
  • Provide recommendations for education planning, positive behavior supports, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
