Qualifications:

• Current South Carolina certification as a School Psychologist II or III is required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is highly preferred
• Excellent assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Strong communication abilities for teamwork and parent/teacher engagement
• Commitment to a fully on-site presence (no virtual or hybrid options at this time)
• Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations related to learning, social-emotional concerns, and behavior
• Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations that help each child thrive
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective interventions
• Consult with staff and families to develop strategies promoting student achievement
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized education plans
• Serve as a resource on mental health, trauma-informed practices, and classroom accommodations
