This contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite at two different elementary sites, providing vital behavioral support and intervention. Key Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist or school social worker certification
- Experience developing effective behavior intervention plans
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and staff to manage behaviors across settings
- Strong skills in pre-referral, evaluative, and social-emotional support activities
- Comfort working onsite and serving multiple school locations as needed
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Knowledge of best practices for behavioral supports in elementary settings
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral consultation and intervention services for elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Assist staff in identifying strategies for meeting diverse behavioral needs within classrooms and other settings
- Conduct pre-referral screenings and participate in evaluation teams as needed
- Deliver support and coaching to faculty and staff regarding management of student behaviors
- Maintain detailed records and prepare required documentation for student services
- Schedule and manage a 35-hour onsite workweek (7 hours per day)
