Make a difference in the early academic and social-emotional journey of young learners as a dedicated school psychologist working with kindergarten and first-grade students. This part-time onsite opportunity involves supporting approximately 30 students in a nurturing and collaborative school environment near Commerce City, CO. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding students, educators, and families to foster student well-being and success.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with early elementary (K-1) students preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and assessment tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and staff
  • Detail-oriented, compassionate, and collaborative approach to student support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized strategies and interventions
  • Provide consultation to families and educators regarding student support
  • Offer short-term individual or group counseling as needed to address specific student concerns
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
