Job Description

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
- Experience working with a diverse K-12th grade caseload is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in student assessments, behavioral interventions, and individualized education planning (IEP)
- Strong communication and consultation skills for engaging with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to analyze assessment results and develop data-driven recommendations
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and promoting student well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for services
- Interpret and share results with parents, educators, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral support plans
- Provide targeted counseling and interventions to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives and crisis intervention as needed
- Consult with teachers and school staff around student learning and classroom management strategies
