Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
  • Experience working with a diverse K-12th grade caseload is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in student assessments, behavioral interventions, and individualized education planning (IEP)
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for engaging with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to analyze assessment results and develop data-driven recommendations
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and promoting student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for services
  • Interpret and share results with parents, educators, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and behavioral support plans
  • Provide targeted counseling and interventions to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Support Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives and crisis intervention as needed
  • Consult with teachers and school staff around student learning and classroom management strategies
