This full-time contract role is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a hands-on, rewarding position within an engaging and dynamic school environment. With 35 hours per week onsite, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact in an urban educational setting, collaborating with students, educators, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC license required, with eligibility for Pennsylvania state requirements
- Demonstrated school-based experience, with confidence in managing a varied caseload
- Familiarity with middle and high school student needs
- Experience and comfort working in urban school settings
- Ability to complete all PA clearances prior to the start date
- Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance
- Availability to work onsite between 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM; schedule cannot be adjusted
- Comfortable engaging with diverse populations and adjusting to district expectations
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech and language services directly to students onsite—from assessment and IEP development to intervention and collaboration with school personnel
- Manage documentation and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
