LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established real estate organization to identify a Property Accountant for its North Dallas office. This hybrid opportunity offers a salary of $80,000-$90,000, a comprehensive benefits package, and the flexibility to work from home one day per week (4 days in the office, 1 remote).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and ensuring reporting deadlines are achieved.
  • Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to verify accuracy and identify variances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Provide financial analysis by reviewing operating results, identifying trends, and explaining variances.
  • Support recurring and special financial reporting requests, including performance metrics and benchmarking analyses.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing requested documentation and assisting with SOX compliance and internal control processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of accounting experience, including exposure to financial statement preparation.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
