Job Summary
We are seeking an Operator for a direct hire opportunity in West Columbia, SC, supporting a manufacturing team that produces specialty coated products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, machine operation support, material handling, and quality-focused manufacturing processes.
As an Operator, you will help keep coating line operations running safely and efficiently while working with a team that values consistency, accountability, and attention to detail. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, supportive leadership, and the opportunity to build practical manufacturing skills in a team-oriented production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, coating line support, and packaging activities.
- Load raw materials, stage production supplies, and support material movement throughout the work area.
- Perform quality checks to help ensure finished products meet production and customer standards.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and report equipment or process concerns.
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and required PPE expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment throughout the shift.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $20 to $22 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: West Columbia, SC.
