We are seeking an Associate Electrical Applications Engineer to join our engineering team in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for early-career engineers with 1-3 years of experience who are looking to develop their technical expertise while supporting the design, customization, testing, and implementation of electrical and electromechanical systems.

The Associate Electrical Applications Engineer will work closely with senior engineers, manufacturing teams, quality personnel, and project stakeholders to help deliver reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions that meet customer and operational requirements.


Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Applications Support

  • Assist in the design, modification, and application of electrical and electromechanical systems, components, and assemblies.
  • Support engineering efforts to customize products and systems based on customer or manufacturing requirements.
  • Help troubleshoot electrical design and application issues related to product performance, reliability, or manufacturability.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of electrical solutions.


Manufacturing Support

  • Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to support production activities and resolve electrical-related issues.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions for equipment, process, or product issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.
  • Help ensure designs are practical and manufacturable within production environments.


Technical Documentation

  • Create and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, bills of materials, and engineering change notices.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical deliverables.
  • Support configuration management and document control processes.


Project Coordination

  • Assist with engineering projects by managing assigned tasks and supporting project milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production.
  • Provide updates on project status, risks, and technical concerns.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Associate's Degree with considerable experience can also be considered.
  • 1-3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment -or- 0-2 years of experience with internship experience and strong ability to adapt.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Experience supporting electrical systems, controls, automation equipment, or electromechanical products.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, automation, or electromechanical products.
  • Exposure to PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, drives, or motor control systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or power analyzers.
  • Basic programming or software experience (Visual Studio, .NET, C#, or similar technologies).
  • Understanding of networked industrial systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with engineering change processes and technical documentation.
