Engage in an exciting opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist working collaboratively across two high schools near Lakeville, MN. This contract position consists of a 0.9 FTE assignment, allowing you to make a meaningful impact supporting student success in diverse educational environments.

Split your expertise between two engaging settings, working 0.50 FTE at a large, vibrant high school, and 0.40 FTE at another equally dynamic campus. You’ll play a key role in helping students achieve their fullest potential, promoting independence, participation, and overall well-being.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OT license in Minnesota, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Organizational abilities to manage caseload across multiple campuses
  • Flexible, positive approach and solution-oriented mindset

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy interventions to high school students
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contribute to IEP development and reviews
  • Complete assessments, write detailed reports, and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Educate staff and students about adaptive strategies and equipment as needed
  • Support students to achieve goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living
