Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact at the elementary level. This part-time contract role (three days per week) focuses on supporting students and collaborating with staff to foster a positive learning environment. You'll become an integral resource for students, educators, and families while enjoying the flexibility of a reduced schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for elementary students
- Perform classroom and individual observations to assess student needs
- Assist with the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process, collaborating with educators to design and monitor interventions
- Actively participate in meetings with faculty, parents, and relevant stakeholders regarding student progress and interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification required
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, preferably within an elementary school setting
- Strong skills in evaluation, observation, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Candidates selected for this role will receive competitive compensation ranging from $53/hr to $58/hr.
