Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current RI SLP license and RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) certification required
  • Background in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare—SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience considered
  • Experience with teletherapy services
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in speech-language pathology
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy (in-person and, as needed, via teletherapy)
  • Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and track progress

  • Educate teachers and families about strategies to support communication development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment
  • Support students with diverse needs and backgrounds
