Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RI SLP license and RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) certification required
- Background in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare—SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience considered
- Experience with teletherapy services
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in speech-language pathology
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy (in-person and, as needed, via teletherapy)
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and track progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Educate teachers and families about strategies to support communication development
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment
- Support students with diverse needs and backgrounds
