Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Connecticut
- Prior experience providing speech and language therapy within a school setting
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on student needs, and collaborate with staff and families
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student requirements across a range of ages and disabilities
