Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • State licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Connecticut
  • Prior experience providing speech and language therapy within a school setting
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on student needs, and collaborate with staff and families
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student requirements across a range of ages and disabilities
