This full-time, full school year contract role focuses on guiding young learners toward academic and social success. Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and consultation practices for children
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage with diverse groups
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for elementary-age students
- Analyze assessment data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services
- Consult with teachers and families to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Contribute to school-wide programs promoting positive behavior and mental health
- Maintain accurate records and comply with special education laws and best practices
