Job Description
Step into a meaningful opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students across a K-12 setting. This full-time, contract position begins with new hire orientation on August 12th–14th and offers consistent weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements:
- Current Illinois COTA license (must submit with application; verify through the official Illinois license lookup website)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to work onsite, Monday–Friday, during designated school hours
- Team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
- Desire to make a positive impact in a diverse educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs for K-12 students under the direction of an OT
- Support students in developing functional, academic, and social-emotional skills for classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary staff to tailor interventions
- Document services and student progress in compliance with district and licensing standards
- Attend team meetings, including IEPs, as needed
