Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Round Lake, IL

This full-time, contract position begins with new hire orientation on August 12th–14th and offers consistent weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements:

• Current Illinois COTA license (must submit with application; verify through the official Illinois license lookup website)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
• Ability to work onsite, Monday–Friday, during designated school hours
• Team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
• Desire to make a positive impact in a diverse educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy programs for K-12 students under the direction of an OT
• Support students in developing functional, academic, and social-emotional skills for classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary staff to tailor interventions
• Document services and student progress in compliance with district and licensing standards
• Attend team meetings, including IEPs, as needed
