Job Description
Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to fill an urgent backfill need. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience caring for patients ranging from neonates to adults with acute medical conditions. The right candidate will be comfortable working night shifts and possess a strong background in clinical respiratory care within a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
Qualifications:
- Current NBRC credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA
- NRP certification required
- Minimum of 6 months’ recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred
- Experience caring for neonate through adult populations, particularly those with acute illnesses
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based respiratory care to neonate, pediatric, and adult patients presenting with a wide variety of medical problems
- Perform all routine and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures associated with respiratory care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document treatments and patient responses in the Cerner electronic medical record system
- Effectively manage workflow during busy night shifts and respond rapidly to critical care situations
