Applicants should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience following ASHA SLP certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in both therapy delivery and professional collaboration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification, or valid eligibility as SLP-CFY
  • Prior work in school-based settings, comfortable serving a range of age groups and disabilities
  • Experience supervising SLPAs, with readiness to oversee up to three SLPAs each
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Competence in detailed reporting, IEP management, and data-driven practices

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with varying communication challenges
  • Oversee, support, and mentor SLPAs delivering intervention for up to 55 cases each
  • Conduct Special Education Eligibility Evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, presenting evaluation results and guiding team decision-making
  • Maintain and update IEPs and progress reports for assigned caseload
  • Adapt to fluctuating caseloads based on school enrollment and student needs
  • Foster a positive, collaborative spirit within the educational team
