Job Description

This full-time contract position begins in August 2026 and wraps up at the end of May 2027, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year. The schedule is 35 hours per week and may involve supporting multiple campus locations in a dynamic, itinerant role. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for diverse student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida DOH Psychologist license required
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in student assessment and evaluation
- Proven ability to write clear, comprehensive reports
- Prior involvement in IEP meetings and student service planning
- Skilled at working independently across various school settings
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments for students across a range of grade levels
- Complete timely and thorough reports to inform individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educational teams and families
- Offer expertise to develop and update student support strategies
- Maintain accurate, confidential records reflecting all activities and communications
- Adapt to serving varying caseloads and travel between assigned school sites
- Contribute to a positive learning environment for every student
