Radiology Tech

The role involves delivering a range of radiographic services, which includes positioning patients before conducting radiographic exposures and managing the operation and upkeep of all radiographic equipment.

Patient Age Range: All age groups are served.

Educational Requirements: A High School Diploma or GED is essential.

• Understanding of radiographic procedures and practices.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Florida State License as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.
• Alternatively, candidates must present proof of program completion and a temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license upon hiring.
• Passing the ARRT Certification exam and obtaining the Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of hire or transfer is mandatory.

Less than one year of experience in radiology, along with formal training, is required.
