Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / ICU
Location: Camden, NJ
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) - 12*3
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (Friday–Sunday Only)
Weekend Position: Every Weekend (Fri–Sun)
Floating: Required to all like units


Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Critical Care/ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week weekend-only contract assignment in Camden, NJ. This position is ideal for a highly skilled ICU nurse with recent Level I Trauma experience who is comfortable managing critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and life-support therapies.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a high-acuity ICU environment and be proficient with CRRT, EVD, and Swan-Ganz catheter management.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
  • Perform continuous patient assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
  • Manage patients receiving advanced critical care therapies.
  • Operate and monitor advanced life-support equipment.
  • Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and critical care infusions.
  • Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Accurately document patient care and interventions.
  • Float to comparable critical care units based on staffing needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Minimum 3 years of recent Critical Care experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
  • Current ICU experience
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience required
  • EVD (External Ventricular Drain) management experience required
  • Swan-Ganz catheter/hemodynamic monitoring experience required
  • Ability to float to all like units
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
  • Experience with high-acuity cardiac and neurological critical care patients
