Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting students, educators, and families in the Wylie, TX area as an onsite School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity spans from August 3rd, 2026 through May 27th, 2027, for a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The exact caseload will be confirmed soon as more information becomes available, but you will be working collaboratively within a school district environment to best serve student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active School Psychologist license in the state of Texas
- Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
- Expertise in psychological testing, assessments, and reporting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, consultations, and recommendations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families on intervention strategies
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and Section 504 plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility decisions
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
